PROFILE:
Elected
to the Order of the Coif following her graduation from
law
school, Professor Findlater clerked for Michigan Supreme
Court Justice Charles Levin. She joined the Wayne State
faculty
in 1976, and teaches Contracts, Criminal Law and Family Violence.
She was a member of the Michigan Domestic Violence Prevention
and Treatment Board from 1988-1998. In 1979, 1981, 1982,
1984, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000,
2002, and 2004,
she was voted by the student body as Outstanding Professor
of the Year.
